I honestly don't know why it took me so long to write this. I think it might be because I don't write journals on dA anymore so I forget that it's a feature? Anyways, last weekend was Fanime (it was also my graduation ceremony, but I ditched that to go to Fanime heh heh). I had a blast. Got to see people I haven't seen in a long long time and I met a myriad of wonderful new people. Plus registration this year was FANTASTIC wow. My friend and I went down Thursday with lunch, chairs, things to do, etc, with the knowledge that Fanime is actually LineCon and we would be spending all day there. NOPE. We were in line exactly 30 minutes. No one knew what to do with themselves after getting their badge. Props to the con team on that! The hotel shuttles could have been better though. I think the one major thing that could make it better is an actual line system. At least at the Hilton there could be a line for the Doubletree buses and another for the Holiday Inn. People seriously need to learn how to wait their turn.
Saturday I met the wonderful
(who I actually saw Friday afternoon, but I wasn't mentally prepared to talk to him so I let him be, plus he looked like he was going somewhere so... this became a joke at my expense all con long, thanks guys). There wasn't really time to talk to him much, but I did get him to sign a print of my Velvet Scarlatina design to which he reiterated that he really likes and still might give to another character on RWBY. While that would absolutely make my life, just knowing that he likes something I've done is plenty for me. I'm still so happy over the encounter. Rooster Teeth means so much to me (and constantly inspires me) and any type of recognition from any employee makes my day, whether it is a like/reblog on my fanart on Tumblr or a face-to-face compliment. Just writing this makes me so incredibly happy!
I hosted a Rooster Teeth lunch on Sunday which was a huge success! Over 30 people showed up. This lunch at Fanime will become an annual thing, not to mention there will be more lunches and meet-ups during the year. There might also be something a big larger coming in the future... Also to note, the Rooster Teeth cosplay gathering will indeed be there next year and in a better spot! FANIME 2015 HYPE.

Huge thanks to everyone making this the best Fanime that I've attended so far!
As for after college stuff... No job yet! I'm going to continue building my portfolio up since it's fairly sparse at the moment. I'm still on the look out though! But hey, I'm a college graduate! That's still exciting!
I'm going to watch today's Minecraft Let's Play then do some warm-ups in PS. Follow me on Tumblr
